Halloween

Every year Jake and I get pumpkins for Halloween and have a contest to see who can carve the better pumpkin. This year however, our contest was almost cancelled because we were in the hospital all weekend. Fortunately we were able to find some time to carve our pumpkins Sunday evening after we got home.

Thanks to those who voted on facebook, my pumpkin which is on the left won.

This year was also Carter's first time to go trick-or-treating. I was originally planning on being out most of the night walking around the neighborhood in hopes of inducing labor but my plans sure did change. Instead we just went down our street and since Jake was at school Esther (Jake's mom) went with me.

Isn't he just the cutest cow you ever did see?

He was also a really cute dinosaur. When Jake came home from school we dressed Carter up again and hit a few more houses just so Jake could see how cute he was trick-or-treating.

It was really fun to watch him in this costume because he could see the teeth of the dinosaur and try to look up at them and then fall over in the process. He then had a hard time getting up because of his tail. We definitely had a few good laughs.
